Nabbaale Farm
Nabbale farm is the brain child of the late Msgr John Baptist Kanyi who, as Parish Priest, bought the initial five acres of land in 1976 in an effort to make Christ the King Parish self sustaining.
It’s located in Mukono District, Nakifuma County, Nabbale Sub-County in Nakukuba Parish. It’s situated on a mountainous landscape characterized by both highlands and lowlands. It is locally known as the Priests’ Farm (faamu ya bafaaza).
The Farm has a stream running through the valley that separate the two hills that are main geo-features of the farm. There are a number of agricultural enterprises covering both crops and animal husbandry i.e
Animal section – Piggery, Poultry, Chicken Layers, Goats Fish ( two stocked ponds) etc
Agricultural section – Coffee, Oranges, Banana, Seasonal crops, Maize, Beans, Agro forestry etc
