Daughters of St. Paul (Pauline Sisters)

We are an International-Missionary Congregation of Women Religious, called and consecrated as Apostles to proclaim the Gospel with the means of social communication: Books, Magazines, Audio visuals, Radio, television and all the Means that the Modern technology of communication invents – Internet and all the New Media in the name of Christ and his Church; but first of all, we are called to know, to love, to live and to make Christ known in the world by the witness of our life and the faithful response to our vocation.
Our boundaries are the boundaries of the world. We were founded in Italy on June 15, 1915, by Blessed James Alberione (founder) and Venerable Sr. Thecla Merlo (Co-foundress). At the moment we are present in 56 different countries. In Africa we are present in fourteen countries, namely: Angola, D.R.Congo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
