Franciscan Choir

Franciscan Choir is a voluntary, charitable organization consisting of a group of both young and old talented musicians who have chosen to serve the Lord in Christ the King Church with their Voices.

The Franciscan Choir was founded on 31st March 1995 (Palm Sunday). Its formation followed the discontinuity of the Good News Choir. It started with 28 members and currently has 41 members. The Choir animates the Sunday 11:30 am Mass at Christ the King Parish.

The Choir meets every week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to learn and practice songs of praise in preparation for Sunday Mass and other Church activities. They participate in different events involving music and dance; this include:- Weddings, Baptism services, Funeral Services, Anniversaries and any other celebrations/ functions. The choir also contributes funds to support charity events.
