Parishioners of Christ the King Church Kampala were overjoyed and filled with awe as they entered the newly reconstructed Church.
After enduring an exile of more than 6 years whereby they utilized the Cardinal Wamala Hall for Daily and Sunday Mass, parishioners were finally able to pray from the new church on Good Friday.
Msgr. Kalumba thanked the parishioners for their support during the reconstruction as well as for their patience. He also informed them that there is still pending work to be completed such as installing the sound system and the pews among other works. But the church will be used for mass.
The official blessing of the Church will be announced at a later date.
